>>12115996i would think the opposite would be true actually. with d&d a lot of time gets eaten up by people trying to figure out to do with their single action and bonus action which are separate things, and any given attack/spell/feature may use either so it's a lot to keep track of while really being spoiled for choice on how to dedicate your resources a lot of the time. just making everything cost X action points should be more straightforward and versatile i would imagine, in theory letting people make faster decisions and keep momentum higher.
