I bought the expensive wiper blade. It's really good. If this thing lasts one full year I will consider it superior value to the cheap. The problem with the cheap is that my new car takes a long boy 28" blade on the driver's side. At this length, any weakness in the construction of the blade will become apparent very quickly. Chattering, vibrations, failure to uniformly wipe the windshield despite the wiper arm spring being in tip top shape. On my old car I could put the cheapest 22" on and it didn't matter, never had a problem, lasted one full winter or one full summer until the rubber was shot, 40% the price of the expensive.
