Just wanna share with you nice people that I went to Rockfest 80s as my first concert this past Saturday.
Feels wonderful having gone out to see Steelheart and Dokken in person, and even though Don Dokken can't sing too well anymore, I couldn't have been happier to be there, singing along to Breaking the Chains, In My Dreams, Don't Close Your Eyes, and a whole slew of other classic Dokken tracks.
It's been such a while since I've felt happy like this, and I certainly can't wait to top that day by seeing Judas Priest, my favorite band, up in DC this coming March.
It'll be quite a journey for me to drive from South Florida all the way up there, but I certainly won't regret it.
