There's two types of Satanism, Left Hand Path occultism, and LaVey,

While Left Hand Path practitioners believe in higher beings or "Gods", they don't believe in the Biblical Satan or Lucifer etc. If a group does take up that name for something, generally it reflects something bigger than being evil and hating God or whatever.

Human beings are creations of the conscious plane, as we are a link to this reality plane, we're a bridge between the two. If you believe in God, he's as real as you believe him to be. If you believe in Satan, he's as real as you believe him to be. This however is all happening in your consciousness. Christ is on the same level as Allah, Buddha, "Satan" etc.. so no God is grander than another, and no God is grander than you, because you are creating God, you are God and he is you.
