it's not much like that at all anymore, though higher-class people still dress well, especially for things like shooting
working class people dress similarly to anywhere else in the world
if you were English and you dressed like your pic, you would just get compliments, I don't think anybody would bat an eye
in fact, I've seen loads of young men dressed in that exact outfit, presumably after watching the show, and there are still tons of old tailors selling that kind of stuff, as well as the occasional countrywear shop in bigger villages:
