Pharisaic Judaism evolved into today's Judaism.
Pharisaism is what Jesus opposed most, so it stands to reason modern Judaism would be subject to the same critiques Jesus made in His 7 Woes of the Pharisees remarks.
And indeed, as one who has spent a great deal of time with Jews, His words ring true.
