I would lurk /b/ for porn gifs in high school, I stopped browsing completely until 2011 or so when my gf of 4 years dumped me. I started watching anime again at that time so I mostly just lurked /a/. Held that up for a few years, gamergate happened, and even though I didn't give a shit about video games I moved over to cripplechan because it seemed new and exciting. Their /a/ was worse than 4chan's, so I ended up moving to /int/ and following that awful series of events to a number of nearly dead imageboards. I got tired of the identity obsessed circlejerks and came back to 4chan.
