>>18011259You can trace the lineages in the bible and place firm date on things like, the creation of the Earth, and the date of the Great Flood.
Doing this places the Flood at about 2500 BC, which is the same time they were building the Great Pyramids of Giza, and the same time that the Akkadian Empire was conquering babylon. Basically religious people are forced to believe the flood annihilated these cultures completely, which then miraculously "respawned" themselves and went back to writing heiroglyphs and building pyramids as they were before. Or they believe that all of history is made up. Who knows actually what they believe.
There's other problems with the flood story
>where did all the water go?>how did Noah get animals from places like America, and Australia?>how did Noah deliver these animals back to distant lands such as America and Australia once the flood was over? >are all humans and animals really the product of incest?>how could Noah and his Sons, maybe half a dozen people, successfully keep 10's of thousands of animals on a giant wooden ship? >why did god preserve the parasites?
