Most men will never experience a decent enduring relationship much less an idealized one. And the number will continue to dwindle.
The future of artificial companions is still up in the air. Personally I think they will have programmed (but endearing) flaws, will be highly customizable/adaptive, can actually hold a fucking conversation. It will be better and worse than a real relationship but most importantly it will be attainable without playing Roastie Roulette.
It's going to be weird. Women will also have artificial companions, so will children. There will be children companions. There's going to be people who program their companions to be very, very strange. There will be people who insist on reality. People will still fall in love with eachother. Some will fall in love and keep their companions too.
Everyone is going to have to learn to mind their own business, hard I know.
