I remember the first time someone called me an L-7, one of the worst days of my life and I never fully recovered from that humiliation. It's burned into my brain. They say that's the chemical response, that moments of extreme stress or emotions otherwise imprint memory onto the brain in a more vivid fashion. I don't know if that's true, but I remember that moment like it was yesterday and every time I relive it I still shake the same way I did back then.
