Wish this was bigger so I could show the South African part more. South African grandad had an Irish maternal grandad who married a South African woman from Port Elizabeth (was probably an Anglo-South African as all the Boers lived farther inland) after settling in Pretoria following the Second Boer War. His paternal grandad and grandmother came from Australia to South Africa to work on the railways (I think my great great grandad helped build the first bridge over the Orange River). All the Scottish ones, including me, are from the Glasgow/South West region. Also fuck you mods
