I doubt anyone will read this far in the thread but if you do, the answer to this conundrum is to lift less weight but do the exercise more correctly.
You're still getting "gains" by slowly making the exercise more correct even if you don't add more weight to the bar. Get that handled first. Only once you're doing it correctly.. may you add weight.
Ignore the jacked dude lifting more than you on the next rack over. You're not competing with him. The numbers in your body matter not the numbers on the bar.
