For the additions I buy to my ramen I buy: Mushrooms (enoki or white mushrooms), Zucchini, Carrots, Spring Onions, and Cabbage.
As for the protein, it depends on the broth flavour:
Seafood/shrimp broth- clam,. crawfish, shrimp, or crab
Beef broth - beef or lamb
Chicken broth - chicken
Maybe I over elaborated, but simple to make that lame packed of ramen a satisfying meal.
