>>16026585It's average, but sure, it's getting late, I'll head off after this one. Take care as well.
>>16026594>compared to altchans even this place is pretty fast.It is, but overall it's pretty moderate. That's one of the things that sets it apart nicely from everywhere else on this site, it's just very comfortable to be in compared to the rest of the boards. Combined with how lenient the moderation is, I believe that's what makes the board unique. It's left to it's own devices for the most part and hasn't imploded yet. The userbase isn't that special, but at it's not downright insufferable, and nor do I really find the sense of humor and style of shitposting funny, but those reasons from before alone just easily make it the best board here. I suppose I'm being too harsh on it also, I mean, you can still get fun out of it if you know how to, I enjoy my own threads for one and interesting people come by still. And honestly, it's so disconnected from how the site usually is that I've always viewed this place like an altchan, more so than a board that's here. But it's still not quite, because again, it's mainstream and that's just what it is. I think that at the moment, it's one of those places that you'll look back with nostalgia glasses in the future. Which is happening for some people already.
My kind of burnout is natural because of just simply using the board too much, I think. The healthiest way is just to visit every once a while. At least with a slower place, even if I'm on it constantly, the stimulation is less because more time is spent waiting for posts and that there's a sense of anticipation. Here, it's moving pretty much all the time with endless spew, it's basically an infinite content pool and I guess that's what makes it get jaded fast. So, I don't think that lesser stimulation is a bad thing. If you get conversations with more substance at the end of it, then I think it's alright. But not to tangent. Character limit.
