I was on a weekend trip where the military set up 3 day basic camp so more people would enlist.
After the basic drill we hiked up a mountain to set a camp up there with a assigned seargent.
We navigated trough it with a map and a compass and 35kg gear on us the day was burning hot
The girl next to me almost collapsed halfway trough I helped carry her backpack
At night some people where assigned to hunt us down with K munition
And god it was beautiful.
Getting woken up in the middle of the night, the adrenaline rush while your seargent screams at you to grab you stg get up and get busy, hearing the gunshots
He said we where just a bunch of kids who wanted to play war but damn I wouldn’t mind at all doing the real thing
