>>16786899At times, I use the name 2k CHAD, just to reflect my general propensity to write 2k character posts, which is the character limit for a post on this website. This is not me trying to "look smart", this is again, due to my educaiton, I have been taught that the "normal" way to communicate asynchronously is by writing letters such as emails, and longer papers to communicate more elaborate topics, so this is how I communicate. This is just my basic, normal communication style, and as rambling as it may be, it's honestly not difficult for me to write and talk in this form because this is my baseline standard for commuincation.
The problem is that when you head out into the real world, you quickly learn that for whatever reason, be it genetic, cultural, or psychological, the vast majority of people have failed miserably to attain a functional grasp of the English language to communicate at the level which was once considered the "basic standard" or simple letter writing.
These people fear paragraphs. I joke that the collective enemy of every terrorist group is paragraphs, because this honestly appears to be the case. It doesn't matter which side a person is on, they are guaranteed to hate you and attack you if they see you writing paragraphs.
I understand that people will instinctively attack that which is different from themselves, and I know that these people's native tongue is 128-character-SMS-niggertongue, the language of Twitter and text messages, but for the vast majority of the general public to attack and condemn paragraphs on sight, not due to their content, but solely due to the apparently incredibly insulting proposal that the person read a few paragraphs, it's baffling.
