You can say “well, they eventually get deleted” but posts that blatantly have nothing to do with politics and are just promoting racism or sexism or what have you are allowed to sit for hours and reach hundreds of replies and god only know how many views before that, where actual political threads that don’t go along with the prescribed ideology are deleted in minutes. I’m not mad about it, I’m just explaining that’s how it is. The board is curated and structured in such a way that a very particular set of views get promoted. The rules exist only to give the moderators an excuse to remove things that don’t go along with that. It’s a cult, and I do feel some sympathy for people that get sucked in, because that’s exactly what it’s designed to do.
