>>1637338Trust me when I say that LOTS of us hate Discord for various reasons and those /g/-savvy among us are certain that it's going to die in no more than 4 years due to its current (mis)management, but it has become a practical last resort to keep contact with all of those willing to venture into it so far, not as a video streamer or any of those other gubins, but as a heavy-duty chatroom that allows the rapid sharing of art as well as coordination for our various side-ventures (PixelCanvas, 2*2chan cup).
We have programmers, we have artists, we even managed to construct our own bot, we have as much of the old gang I could scrape together and we're actually increasing our scope in the public eye a bit more by coordinating on PixelCanvas with other boards - it's a long story, but I've seen it do wonders in maintaining board to board relations and sparking the creativity of those among us. I already lost contact with another promising artist and the Discord's original admin (also another of our number, I and someone else had to take command) around late May, and I'm afraid that if I don't take the opportunity to get into some form of contact with everyone I can the situation will worsen. For now, it's another space to accomplish things in, and even now our server is at least as active as MoTK in spite of its original purpose as a simple /bant/ spinoff.
I just need to figure out our next course of action so we can stop making empty threads and begin giving back to /bant/ again! And I need to be able to talk to at least a good chunk of us to make that work.
