It's a step up from the measures taken earlier last week which banned it from federal employees devices that is government-issued. Now an executive order could be put in place banning it wholesale. BUT, the owners of it might sell it to an american company to calm fears about foreign espionage through the app. Microsoft appearntly wants to buy it

That is so dumb and their reasoning for it is even stupider. "Not enough people use it" like yeah I'm gonna trust your word on this. And the audacity in the same blogpost to just say to use this third party software instead of the thing you already have where people do work for free. Silly all around
