>>16759305Hebrews had a choice: accept that the Torah was predictive of something they hadn't understood, not just a history of their people--but that the messiah'c coming was meant for all people, not just the Hebrews.
That the messiah was actually the creator taking on human form to teach directly how unity with the creator after death was possible and offer the ultimate example of enduring suffering as path to salvation and acting as a perfect sacrifice to relieve the anguished hearts of those gripped by evil, rather than a military leader who would defeat Rome and make Israel the leader among nations and the Hebrews "chosen" to rule on earth, rather than chosen to spread the good news of Jesus Christ about how to experience this salvation by living a life like his.
Those who chose Christ and the hope of something beyond material existence became Catholics, those who chose Barabas at the urging of the Sadducees and Pharisees, became the jews. The jews demanded Christ's crucifixion and then battled the Romans twice, in 66AD and 130 AD, and as Christ warned them, the Temple was destroyed and they were scattered once and for all to the wind in defeat.
Now without a temple, a sacrifice or a priesthood, the scattered jews debated the meaning of life in synagogues and followed the teachings of the Babylonian Talmud, created about 700 AD---which is essentially anti-Christian handbook (it describes Jesus burning in hell in a vat of excrement). They picked and chose their rebbes.
They came to see that engaging in usury (a sin for Catholics) and encouraging moral degeneracy ("freedom" movements and easy vice) was the path to a tiny minority still ruling this world. If some are satanist, it is because they, like Lucifer wish to rule above all and will sacrifice an eternity of damnation for it.
The Catholic Church, "The New Israel" has a temple (churches), a sacrifice (the eucharist celebrated every mass) and a priesthood. The jews must be converted.
