>>15379780idk it's hard for me to say. i'm midway through talktomeinkorean's second course out of 10 courses. doesn't feel very far and korean is hard and foreign. i think i know close to a thousand words but i can't say or read shit because of how vast the grammar is and how little i know of it so far. and i don't have many hours per week to dedicate to studying but i don't feel bad. i've been at it for 260 days according to duolingo and i haven't gotten bored or demoralized yet so i'm optimistic.
as for why, well since i stopped playing vidya, i found myself with a lot of free time which i was just using to browse the internet. i figured i should do something productive instead. it was either russian or korean, the two languages i figured i had the best chance of learning. decided to go with korean since i already understand russian to a satisfactory degree.
what do you mean? you like neuromancer but not the audio version? i dropped neuromancer midway through book 2. just did not like it at all. couldn't care less about anything that happened. i actually didn't like the first one either but at least it kept me reading
