But again, in John 8 it says "the jews" in verse 48-59, when stating (((their))) response to Jesus, after He tells them their father is the devil and the will of their father they do. John 8 covers both conversations with jews that believed Jesus and jews that didn't. So while some Pharisees (jewish leadership) are present, there are other jews present also. It's spitting hairs and pilpul with these people, because they're subverted and they don't like any criticism of jews (which they, like jews, believe is "anti-semitic") because they believe jews are the true Israel, by their ethnicity alone and that they should be revered "because Jesus was a jew." Jesus IS the Son of God. That God chose Abraham's Seed to deliver a means of Salvation to all Men does not mean, we are to revere, worship and idolize all of Abraham's seeds. We are to worship Christ, alone. And only Christ Jesus. Romans 9 clearly addresses this and contradicts this sort of false belief that somehow jews deserve some sort of reverence and worship / idolization for being jews and so does Galatians. Again, we are to worship Christ and Christ alone. There is criticism of jews all throughout the New Testament. Christ is King.
