After defeating the Bubblegum Crisis in a Sugar Tornado Match to become the first-ever two-time WWA World Tag Team Champions, the Birds of Prey, Andi Kestrel and Robyn McDaid, have gone on the hunt, looking to defend their WWA World Tag Team Titles successfully for the first time in two reigns. The Rat 'n' Cat Connection, Nico and Ratasha, had fought the Birds of Prey to a time limit draw in the only direct two-on-two meeting between the teams, and by themselves earning a victory over the former tag team champions the Bubblegum Crisis have proven themselves worthy of a title shot. As has come to light, both teams are not only tag teams, but romantically-linked couples, making this tag team title challenge a Double Date Match for Cupid's Chokehold.
