Study multiple versions, get a copy of the Septuagint, read the pseudepigrapha, and get some Greek and Hebrew copies along with a dictionary for each. Something is always lost in translation, but that doesn’t render the Scripture unprofitable for salvation. Follow Christ and study.
I recommend starting with NASB95, ESV, (N)KJV, Douay. I’m not an Orthobro but the Orthodox Study Bible is pretty good also. Don’t get lost in the weeds of these silly threads, it’s a divide and conquer technique to distract you from following Jesus. Don’t worship the false idol of your own intellect.
