One of the most joyous moments in my life was when I saw the complete Ring des Nibelungen cycle in the Opera de Wallonie. Das Rheingold, Die Walküre, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung. All together 13 hours over 4 operas. They used a telex bar with translations of the lyrics, sort of subtitles but on top, so you could perfectly follow the story as it develops. The experience, it gets you in a state of drunkenness, you walk away from it completely intoxicated.
And it was a classic performance, as the composer had thought it out. This is a great problem nowadays, especially since kikes dominate the world of classical, they rape Wagner any chance they get nowadays. It is hard to find a performance that hasn't been pozzed, unfortunately. I've seen this once with the ring as a big computer, and Wotan as a capitalist with a top hat. "Post-modern interpretations", absolutely disgusting, and it has gotten to the point that they're all like this.
I had the good fortune to see it as it was meant to be in Wallonia, and I have to admit on this point they are better than the Flemings. All Flemish productions I've seen were completely pozzed, with hipsters that are delighted over the fact that they can rape "Hitler's favorite composer".
