I considered Islam myself and, truth be known, jury is still out. Ultimately though my reasons for not going all in and saying the sahadah was because the reason I was considering Islam at all was because Islam permitted me to do things, in this world that Christianity forbade; namely violence.
I want to hurt my enemies...badly. I want to throw faggots off of rooftops and set these blasphemy preaching gay preachers on fire. But that's a worldly consideration, inasmuch insincere, an insult to the religion I'd be adopting and the one I'd be leaving.
Christ's message in the New Testament is the truth imo. That being the case, there are no other considerations.
