Efforts to outlaw abortion or legalize it at the federal level will fail, and we will just have to live with abortion being legal in half the nation and illegal in the other half. I will not live to see the day it is illegal federally. Perhaps my grandchildren will. After all the boomers and their children have died, perhaps there will be a federal abortion ban, but I will not live to see it. I don't know how baby murder became the cause celebré of one of our country's two major political parties, but as long as the Democrat party continues to champion it, murdering babies will remain legal. Until then, I have to live in the hell that my parents' generation created.
