The shroud has been proven via the pollen samples and soil samples which contained flora (from a plant that only grows in Israel) and soil (Jerusalem limestone) any person attempting to make a forgery would not have access or care to use those resources in making this shroud. The Shroud is also a 3D holographic image imprinted on a 2d cloth. We don’t have the technology to do this TODAY. The shroud was scientifically studied and catalogued showing that no pigment was used. The cloth is an ancient 3-1 herringbone weave from that time for a wealthy man (as the bible states)
