Depression is the opposite of excitement.
Especially when you realise you COULD do great things but your lazy procrastination won’t allow it to happen. This is something that people don’t understand about chronic procrastination. It is a serious disorder that cannot just be dismissed with “oh you are so lazy, just do your work”. No, “just do it” is not a fucking answer. Chronic procrastinators have dreams too, they have life goals, certain someones they love, serious passions they are desperate to get into. And yet no, they are corrupted by procrastination and before they know it, their time is up. They live their childhoods and teenage lives “okay”, just enough to get through, but when they get higher up into the job market, it finally begins to take effect. Procrastinators only then lose their loved ones, their passions, their youth and everything they wanted to achieve in life. Suicide then becomes the only truely achievable goal for them.
