Try Fairy Tail. Technically Lucy is the MC and she is weak af (it gets better though) but it is rather about all characters in the guild and everyone has his/her cool moment.
They are also very unique. They explain the powers simply with magic so there are really no restrictions on powers. The plot could be better but I thought it was very likable.
It has also some awesome music and those badass Erza scenes holy shit.
