What I tried to say in the op is that I've lived in brownentina for many years and that I still have to live there some more and that no matters what happens in the future after I had moved somewhere else, nothing will ever come close to being as bad as the time I had to spend in brownentina. What I should have used is the word ''is'' instead of ''was'' but I felt that didn't made my point come across.
