>>20227652Speaking of patterns, I'm trying to trade this pattern I've noticed on many charts. I've moved from daily equities and forex to 5m and 15m crypto charts so I can get more candles and data to test it on (also crypto has tight spreads and is 24/7, so this is helpful here)
Basically if price has had a very solid trend up or down, the EMA crosses below the baseline, and then price crosses below them both, that's a signal to go short. The confirmation is having it pullback above the EMA (and maybe the BL); if it keeps rallying, it's a no entry. But if it immediately comes back below in another candle or two, that's a strong signal to go short
