>>745769Interesting. For me it was a bit different. When I started getting really religious and practising, I discovered alot of islamic teachings that I felt were very restrictive and unpleasant, even though in the Quran it is said that Allah made our religion easy for us. The thing I found the most restrictive was the ban on drawing living beings, because I love drawing and have been drawing ever since I could remember, it's a passion of mine. I literally had to channelize the urge to draw by drawing random geometrical patterns or just by scibbling around on my notebook. Pic related is one of my drawings ^^ One day while trying to figure out how to pray, I found an article called "How to pray according to the Quran alone". It sparked my interest and I clicked it, subsequently stumbling across the anti-hadith arguments, thus leaving them out of my practice of Islam forever. It's also quite good to know that you do not have to justify the ridiculous bullshit in the hadith like paedophilia and whatnot,
