Because I'm old and I gave up drinking and all my college friends moved away or became depressing alcoholics. Im sitting in my apartment right now, wrapped in a comfy soft robe, about ready to climb into my cozy bed in the back bedroom where its nice and quiet.. but here in the living room I can hear in the distance the crazy amounts of traffic and sirens all over and a policeman on a bullhorn telling off the loud drunk laughing people coming out of the bar down the street.. and I'm so fucking happy I'm safe inside and not stumbling around blacked out and talking to complete strangers.
