Canaanite is the term preferred for Ancient and Old Testament era. Canaan after 1500 BC was conquered and ruled by Hebrews.
Phoenician = the term preferred for Classical times when they were already major sea traders. The Phoenicians were the Biblical Hebrews.
The Hebrew/Phoenician Empire colonized and settled various parts of Europe during the Bronze Age.
Carthage = one particular Phoenician colony. Their language, according to Roman records, was known as K'nani.
Jews = an offshoot of the Canaanites. They were originally founded by hipster Canaanites who were upset about the massive wealth disparities in mainstream Canaanite society.
The Greeks called Hebrews "Phoenicians" because they traded a purple dye.
Northern Israel was part of "Phoenicia". There was a kingdom in Canaan called the Kingdom of Israel in 800 BC.
The "Phoenician Empire" existed from 1500 BC - 300 BC. The Kingdom of Israel exists in-between this timeline in CANAAN.
Part of the secret knowledge is that Phoenicians (Canaanites), aka the peoples that built Solomon's temple in the Old Testament, have largely influenced global governance processes since the beginning of known history.
One can easily link the Phoenicians to the Carthaginians (because they didn't change and the societies and artifacts are the same), from there Carthaginians became emperors of Rome - (Severan dynasty of Rome) and from there spread to other European powers as a sort of globalized Neo-Roman Empire.
