Pic related, here we have a gold quartz ore, pyrite hosted gold with black graphite as host rock and transported structure. The local rock is a black graphitic phyllite that decomposes with contact to the liquid quartz fluid. It then becomes part of the larger ore body. This can happen with rich coal seams as well if such a body intercepts one.
