Winter was raging, snow coated the streets of Spaghetti Town, and Paule was finally back and ready to make up for her time away. Not like her time in Japan was a waste, all the contrary. Her Japanese excursion had been wildly successful in her eyes. Not only she did have her first match overseas, but she also kickstarted her favorite time of the year: gift-gifting-gifts-to-her-friends season. But despite these overwhelming achievements, she hadn't seen her friends in a long time, and she missed them dearly. She spent her whole morning wrapping up all the presents she purchased in Japan. And now it was time for the even more exciting part: gift-gifting-gifts-to-her-friends.
[KNOCK KNOCK]
Paule knocked on her Dojo pal's door: Kanako. She made sure to prioritize her as the first friend to gift-gift-a-gift. This visit would be more than a fun time. It was also time to talk about other matters, like Lighting Nika. But Paule was very hopeful. Kanako was smart, a very good friend, and a very good person. Surely by now, she had realized how much of a meanie Nika truly is. Paule was confident that this present and her self-assessed amazing logical arguments would bring sense into Kanako and vaccinate her against the meanie virus that Nika was infected by.
As soon as Paule heard steps nearing the door, she put on her best smile to greet her friend.
