The design approach is similar to a board game (EU started as a board game)
This won't be in EU5. Instead it wil be a simulation rather than a board game. No monarch power or super abstracted currency like that. That's only the first thing in a long line of things he revealed so far that's very exciting. Production, trade, control that all make sense, that aren't just abstractions, it's all looking very good!
