>>9514944>Nords built longhousesWell, actually, ancient Germanic people built very large and impressive halls and temples, but they built them out of wood, the reason being that it was much more suited for the environment, easier to attain. Unfortunately, it doesn't last thousands of years. Italians only started to build things out of stone once they deforested Italy anyway, maybe they should've appreciated nature more.
