I know the Spirit is called the Helper by Christ. Interestingly, the Helper could not be sent to us unless Christ first ascended to the Father.
“When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me,“
John 15:26 NASB
One of the clear roles of the Holy Spirit is to testify the truth about the Son.
I like your graphic, because as clear as it is after reading the gospels that Jesus is not the Father, and so in that sense is not God, it’s also confoundingly the truth that Jesus is God, because the Father has exalted him to his right hand, and not only that but to his own throne. The Son glorifies the Father, and the Father glorifies the Son.
The fullness of the Spirit of the Lord dwelled in Christ. And now the Holy Spirit of God is given as a gift to all through the name of Christ Jesus.
It no longer bothers me when people say, “Jesus is God.” But they would fully honor Jesus by following his example, which was to serve and honor the Father. (Now it’s also the case, though, that they would fully honor the Father by honoring the Son, who He honors and has exalted.) Jesus instructed us to pray to our heavenly Father, not to him; we pray in the Son’s name. But if prayer is offered to Christ, perhaps it’s no mistake, as even in lesser terms Christ is still the mediator between God and man.
