what was weird was that we had the meeting about shootings somewhere around our area about an hour and half before we finish up our shift. we were even told which specific roads are the reported shootings were happening and we were fairly safe. at least a few miles distance. the helicopters been flying around for a while but in distance away from us. so a decent amount of time has passed, not a whole lot but a decent amount. so i pulled up to the scanner in my car, i badged in my id to open the entrance gate and saw our security guy outside sticking by the fence. he was watching something to his left and whatever it was it was still outside my field of view because of the tall wooden fences that suround most of the company ground. so i kind of just waited and watched the security guy intently looking to his left but every once in a while look right while the gate slowly open up for me. onced i pulled up to the road and saw what he was looking at i just gunned it, i aint sticking around. fortunately, my vvti engine was nice and warmed up before i left my parking space.
