>>22554139Yeah those pretty much follow the average wealth graphs too. We're getting poorer in comparison to everyone else.
The biggest problem this country has, is that people here are too stupid and most importantly too envious to invite in or support new business.
The retarded idea that people will pay huge taxes just because we're Finland, is so deeply entrenched in economically illiterate older generations, that they'll never allow for lower taxes for business.
They also believe that no one has the balls to leave this country, just because they themselves are too big of wimps to fuck off.
In reality we have a huge brain drain. The higher education person has, the more likely they're to move out of here.
I can take a plane out of this country right now to let's say Cyprus, live there for 2 months and my capital gains taxes are going to be 0%.
Romania has a 2% tax rate for a micro cap company that has max half a million revenue.
In Italy they have a tax scheme where you just pay a flat 100k no matter how much money you make.
Estonia has a 0% corporate tax rate as long as the money stays in the company.
The point is that there's a lot of competition out there and everyone else has realized that you need lower taxes to invite in the very mobile modern populations.
Finland could easily just put in place a 5% tax rate for digital nomads and start raking in money from these guys without losing anything in process, but nah that would be "unfair to me who has to pay more" so we can't have that.
>>22554180Not bad, AI starting to resemble human art more by the day.
I'd personally throw a passed out Moominpappa there somewhere and it's a pretty good representation of where things are going.
