Over the next thousand years, scientology is rewritten, adjusted, and given new characters in the form of saints and literally all special occasions revolve around these new saints. It becomes your sole culture, EVERYONE goes to church.
That's what christianity was. A whole bunch of powerful assholes telling you what to think until it became life. It happened before christianity with the greek pantheon and paganism, it happened after christianity with islam and mormonism, and will happen again eventually.
