Nikki wakes up on the cold, tiled floor of one of the Divine Mansion’s kitchens. She sits up, brief confusion over her situation quickly giving way to rage toward its cause. “Why the hell am I on the floor, Coco? Couldn’t you at least leave MY body in my bed? And why am I in underwear?”

Nikki ponders her situation. It seems that when Coco reaches the limit of her ability to control her body, there is little warning between that happening and a loss of consciousness. That could put them both in danger. “Coco, you really need to give control back to me by choice instead of clinging on until you pass out. It could be really dangerous for us if that happens at the wrong time.”

Nikki gets to her feet, fully understanding Coco’s sentiment, but unwilling to accept it. Somehow, she had to find a way to control Coco, to relinquish control to her only when she wants to, and to take it back at any time. But how? And what if Coco manages to achieve this level of dominance first? The only thing that seems to stop her now is an inability to maintain control of Nikki’s body indefinitely.
