im not even trying to exaggerate. listening to Nick try and dictate what it means to be a real man while being so juvenile and queer, its not far off from being lectured by a woman or a feminist on what a real man is. you can't take a boy seriously when he tells you what a man is. and thats what he is, because boys don't have serious or long term companionship, they don't have children and the responsibilities that come with it.
im sure andrew can follow this logic because he believes in and applies it. "no pain, no gain" sort of concept. just like in certain religions you can rebound or grow from your suffering or punishments. that overcoming difficulties makes us better, stronger, wiser.. and so facing the challengings of raising a healthy family is definitely rewarding in that way.. it builds both the mother and the father into better people. a man becomes a better man when he takes pu that responsibility and handles it and is able to take care of not only himself but others... thats a measure of a man. and andrew falls short.. hes too proud to admit it. i didnt even know he had a kid until pressing him about it and he wanted to brag as if it proves something. no, dipshit. it only demonstrated your shortcomings or inability to rise to that challenge and meet it.
whati dont think andrew realizes is, he can retain his cold hard manliness AND share a home with a wife and children. i do it all the time. just ask my wife and son how much of an asshole i am. this guy thinks you can't be a boss and a husband and a dad. dude, you're the king of your castle. if you are unable to establish that dominance, once again its a demonstration of your shortcoming.
