Here is a map of the ocean floor. The crust of the earth is oldest on the continents, and youngest at the bottom of the ocean, with the very youngest crust found at the mid ocean trenches. Why the fuck are there trenches EXACTLY in the middle of the oceans unless the ocean expanded out of those trenches? At the bottom of those trenches are vents spewing out water and lava. Whatever chemical, thermal, or quantum processes that are happening in the center of the Earth has caused it to expand 50% over the past 50 million years.
Redwood trees grow in Californa and China, because the Pacific Ocean didn't exist. The Pacific is hard to visualize, because it is so big, but look at the tail going off Alaska in a perfect arc as the ocean spread out. Anyone who denies that the Earth expanded just because we can't answer "how" yet is a fucking brainlet.
