in particular i showed the program for adding the subtitles which people just found interesting because it was new, then talked about it being counterintuitive that simple conversation can be harder to translate than big monologues and it puts way more stress on your skill as a writer in english than your ability to understand japanese which seemed to be something that resonated with a lot of people
