>>19599766>second to last post at 00:51>last post at 07:15Friendly reminder that 6 hours of sleep is not usually a good night's sleep/enough sleep for almost 90% of the human population. If autists can't function in society normally, imagine how much worse when you're sleep deprived.
When I was in Innsbruck and off my meds my sleep cycle was absolutely FUCKED and it contributed HEAVILY to how miserable I felt –psychologically, physiologically, emotionally, financially because of how much I ate as my eating cycle fluctuated up and down, etc. Now, I'm trying to get exercise in too to become stronger (get /fit/, get confident – not that I'm the biggest guy around or can lift heavy weights, but that I am making progress in the journey to reach what I want – something you have more time to do as you're a bit younger but I never did) and to regulate my sleep (you get tired and good rest helps get rid of the sore muscles feeling, you don't stay up all night as easily). I'm honestly not in school so we'll see how poorly dysfunctional I will be as ever once that comes back into my life but with these meds and LOTS of support (this is VERY IMPORTANT) and some good self treatment, I'm not as bad as I could be.*
*but take that with a grain of salt as I said here
