After harassing me and a fuckton of calls declined they shoved off the job to a 3rd party debt collector/agency that makes their money in threatening you with a variety of legalese and arrest warrants. I basically ignored them for a few years and then they just fucked off and gave up. The whole court summons, esp from 3rd parties is bullshit - at least in our country and these agencies use scare tactics to get poor people to pay regardless if they are responsible or not... likewise, your insurance may ask you to get in touch with anybody that hit you in order to claim- fuck that! I don't pay for insurance to play a private detective, that's their job. This letter seems like a load of bullshit. Ignore it. For all they know, you're dead, in prison or no longer in the country. They cannot prove you have received said letter. Post goes missing all the time and this is a private agency. Fuckem.
