One of my parents has brown "shitskin" eyes, mind you.
In reality it's not as simple as Mendelian genetics, but for the sake of simplicity we use that to clarify on these things.
Recessive does not mean that its weaker, it means that shit is passed down on stealth mode, so a person can have brown eyes and still have a 50% chance to pass down blue eyes, because they're blue eye carrier even though you don't see it because the other allele is the one being expressed.
Dominant vs Recessive has to do with expression, not hereditability.
